MASTERS OF BALLET ACADEMY DOMINATE AT THE GLOBAL DANCE OPEN!
As Co-Founder and Artistic Director of Masters of Ballet Academy, Elena was so proud of her students who performed in the England, Scotland & Wales qualifier of the GLOBAL DANCE OPEN at the end of February, at Elmhurst Ballet School. The dancers returned with no less than 5 Solo Gold medals, 4 Solo Silver medals, 3 Solo Bronze medals and her student Bruno (pictured front centre) was also awarded 'Dancer of the Globe Nominee'!
ELENA CREATES A CHOREOGRAPHIC MASTERPIECE FOR THE FASHION HOUSE, TATA NAKA
Elena was delighted to be invited by Georgian Designers, Tamara and Natasha Surguladze to choreograph their two hour presentation of their new collection, for London Fashion Week on February 20th. The new collection is fun, eclectic and colourful and based on the ballet rehearsal studio, so Elena choreographed a piece with 6 of her young dancers that showed the collection off and left the press and guests in awe and appreciation.
ELENA & SARA IN THE HAGUE!
Elena and long term colleague and friend, Sara Knight, have been hard at work over the last few weeks, with the staging of 'Swan Lake' for the fabulous United Ukrainian Ballet. Elena so much enjoyed working with the Company to stage their production of 'Giselle' at the Coliseum, London in September and was delighted to be asked back to work with this unique Company once again.

Nureyev Legend & Legacy's First Night was a resounding success, with rave reviews from the press and audience alike. The evening was introduced by Dame Monica Mason, DBE and Ralph Fiennes. AMSTERDAM REHEARSALS WITH MAIA MAKHATELI & OLEG IVENKO
A fabulous few days was spent by Elena in Amsterdam at the Nationale Opera & Ballet, rehearsing with the incredible Maia Makhateli and Oleg Ivenko. Maia and Oleg are performing the Gayané Pas de Deux, to the beautiful music by Khachaturian, in the Nureyev Legend & Legacy Gala at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, London this month. Elena staged this piece with Artistic Director of the acclaimed Gala, Nehemiah Kish.
ELENA ENJOYS ONCE AGAIN TEACHING AT THE ROYAL BALLET UPPER SCHOOL
Elena was delighted to once again be asked to teach the Ladies at the Royal Ballet Summer Intensive for two weeks this August, at their beautiful studios in Floral Street, Covent Garden.

"Elena is applying the wealth of artistic and management experience developed over a rich career culminating in her being the Lead Principal Ballerina with the English National Ballet - and guesting all over the ballet world. After retiring from ENB, Elena presented her first production, Cipollino, at the Lilian Baylis Theatre at Sadler’s Wells in 2019. Elena also started and runs her own London-based ballet school that has successfully placed its graduates in Europe’s top ballet schools."
